Carousel Cakes is a local Rockland county, NY business, established in 1975. For over 50 years, our family has been making the highest quality desserts and treats to the highest standards. All our cakes and pies are Kosher.

At Carousel Cakes, our family tradition of baking goes back 2 generations, and over 50 years. Close to 30 years ago, Rockland based Carousel Cakes officially began the second generation of its family business. Founder Martin Lefkowitz could not have dreamed that his original recipes would one day be sold on America's first national home shopping network, HSN!

Raised in a foster home, Martin's sweet tooth led him to his ultimate destiny. Starting at the age of 16, he learned everything there was to learn abou the art of baking. Traveling the NY Catskills, he learned and watched everything at each hotel bakery until he became an expert at baking cakes, cookies, and pies. He learned that the most important part of a good product was the combination of natural and fresh ingredients mixed by hand, with love. Today, we are proud to keep that tradition alive in our delicious chocolate cakes, cheesecakes, and other fine desserts.

Today, our cake line has expanded to about 20 varieties, and we have distribution in 6 states, as well as a select line of cakes available across the country direct to your door via our online store. We also do many custom specialty and party cakes, just call us for that one of a kind treat for any occasion! We carry a special holiday style Passover line, as well as Holiday cakes for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Many items are flourless and Kosher,but not 'Kosher for Passover'.
