FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Once defrosted, our cakes last 5-8 days in a refrigerator.

Our products can be refrozen up to 2 times. Keep the product in it’s original corrugated freezer box. Most cakes can be frozen up to 1 months in our box. Cheesecakes can be frozen up to 2 months.

Cake slices or whole cakes can be displayed out of the refrigerator most of the day but must be refrigerated over night.

Because mousse cakes are more fragile, they can only be left out for 1 hour. However, we recommend that they are served cold. Mousse cakes taste best when refrigerated until serving time.

HANDLING TIPS

General Handling Instructions
When you want to serve our cakes, remove the cake from box and thaw at room temperature. All of our cakes require 4-5 hours in a refrigerator from their frozen state. Layer cakes need to be thawed 2-3 hours at room temperature (from freezer). Cheesecakes and fruit pies can take up to 12 hours at room temperature or overnight in refrigerator to thaw.

Tips and Advice

  • If cakes are ordered for an event and the event is cancelled, all cakes and cupcakes can be frozen.
  • Keep cakes refrigerated or frozen and you can display a few slices at a time. This eliminates waste.
